Mike & Allison Leonard are an unstoppable director/producer duo who happen to be married and still like each other a lot after long days on set. He comes up with big ideas and she tells him they can’t afford it.

Mike Leonard

Mike Leonard is an established film, TV, and commercial director, WGA writer, executive producer and founder of Over the Edge. After building a successful career in entertainment television and branded advertising, Mike decided to leave the comfort of a network job to start a production company with his best friends to merge their freelance and creative projects into one. Years later, it would grow to a place beyond their wildest dreams.

His television work has been seen across networks including CBS, NBC, FOX, Discovery, MTV, Paramount and more. In the world of advertising, Mike has been the creative lead and director on award-winning ads and branded campaigns for brands such as Adobe, Audible, Coca Cola, Dannon, Dick's Sporting Goods, Disney, Marriott, Samsung, Starbucks, Subway, and more.

With a diverse portfolio that spans Emmy-nominated narrative and nonfiction television, award-winning global ad campaigns, and branded entertainment for some of the biggest brands on the planet, Mike has always put storytelling first and continues to obsess over the craft of filmmaking.

Allison Leonard

With over a decade of experience in television and advertising, Allison Leonard is a seasoned producer for entertainment television, branded and commercial advertising. She began her career in network television, creating a variety of entertainment programs across multiple platforms for Paramount, working closely with top-tier celebrities and globally recognized brands.

After moving into advertising and branded content, Allie spent three years at Condé Nast, working with iconic titles like Vogue, GQ, and Allure to execute high-end ad campaigns for major clients including Lexus, Toyota, Sonos, and Jack Daniel’s.

Before stepping into media, Allie worked as a scientist, conducting cutting-edge cancer research using genetic engineering techniques like CRISPR in a world-renowned lab that included seven Nobel Laureates. This experience honed her analytical mindset and deepened her ability to solve complex challenges; skills that she now brings to every production she leads.

Now a full-time partner at Over the Edge, Allie brings her industry insight and storytelling instincts to the family business, helping clients transform bold ideas into standout visual content.
