5 Epic Productions

Snowmobiles before sunrise, dune buggies in the desert, ocean stunts on Maui, Sylvester Stallone, and Derrick Henry.

The last 18 months have been filled with some of our all-time favorite productions. Here are five recent Over the Edge projects that remind us how much we love what we do.

Oikos “All-Strength Team”

Oikos partnered with Over the Edge on creating their 2026 ad campaign introducing their “All-Strength Team,” and we couldn’t have been more excited.

The team roster included NFL powerhouse Derrick Henry, tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz, football standout Dakorien Moore, volleyball star Andi Jackson, and basketball phenom Saniyah Hall.

Drawing inspiration from cinematic sports ads by brands like Nike and Under Armour, Over the Edge took over an indoor sports complex in NJ and transformed it into a cinematic Oikos training facility for its elite athletes.

The campaign consists of dozens of social assets that have been released throughout the year so far, but our favorite spot and some really fun behind-the-scenes videos are dropping this fall, and we can’t wait to share them. Make sure to follow Over the Edge and Oikos on social media to check out the latest as soon as they drop.

On Set with Stallone

Over the Edge Executive Producer, Mike Leonard, and Sylvester Stallone discuss the next shot.

If you’ve seen a Tunnel to Towers (T2T) commercial on television, especially one featuring an A-list celebrity, there’s a good chance it was an Over the Edge production. We’re honored that T2T and FOX have trusted us to create some of the foundation’s biggest national ads, featuring stars like Mark Wahlberg, Cole Hauser, and, most recently, Sylvester Stallone.

For this production, we traveled to Atlanta and onto the set of Stallone’s hit series, Tulsa King. Inside the show’s saloon, T2T founder Frank Siller sat down with Stallone to talk about the actor’s support for the foundation and encourage viewers to get involved. And while Over the Edge is no stranger to working with big talent, being on set with Sylvester Stallone was pretty surreal.

Beyond the excitement of working with a Hollywood icon, this project was an opportunity to support a mission we’re proud to help share. Tunnel to Towers provides mortgage-free homes to eligible military and first responder families, builds specially adapted homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders, and works to end veteran homelessness.

The finished spot has been airing nationally, helping bring that mission into homes across the country. Getting to work with Stallone made this an unforgettable production, and helping inspire support for T2T made it especially rewarding.

The Women of Ski Patrol

When your shoot starts with snowmobiles in sub-zero temperatures before sunrise and includes using explosives to create an avalanche, it’s certain to be an epic production.

Earlier this year, Over the Edge traveled to Colorado to create a branded, on-air promo for the FOX show Extraction. The spot was sponsored by Herbal Essences in support of the #SeeHer initiative and featured the story of female ski patrollers of Copper Mountain.

Over three days, our team had cameras in-hand and skis on our feet as we traversed the mountain to show off the most badass women in the ski business. Our shot list included pre-dawn hero shots at the top of the mountain, slow-motion turns on the mountains most gnarly terrain,  staging a mid-mountain rescue and an avalanche dog tunneling into the snow to save a buried victim.

This type of adventure filmmaking is exactly how Over the Edge got its start [and its name]. The project was co-directed by OTE’s Mike and Allison Leonard, who are both adventure sports and outdoor enthusiasts.

Tourism Ads for Abu Dhabi

If a production feels more like an epic vacation, it’s hard to go back to normal life. Dune buggies in the desert, five-star resorts, camel rides at sunset. Those were just a few of the things we filmed while creating a tourism campaign for Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi’s Department of Culture and Tourism asked Over the Edge to create a national ad campaign for American travelers that featured some of the best attractions and adventures that the country has to offer.

OTE handled the campaign from concept to scriptwriting through post-production, but the best part was getting to visit the country and film the very best that it had to offer travelers. Ocean Rescue Maui

Ocean stunts on jet skis and filming with a cast of lifeguards on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world were just two elements that made this project rank high on our epic list.

This production brought us to Maui to create a branded, on-air promo for FOX’s Rescue: HI-Surf, and once again was sponsored by Herbal Essences in support of the #SeeHer initiative. Much like our Colorado ski patrol project, the campaign featured women whose work involves heading toward situations most people would rather avoid. This time, we traded skis and snowmobiles for fins and jet skis.

Our assignment was to spotlight real female ocean safety officers through a combination of cinematic action and personal storytelling. The shoot included staged rescue sequences, water stunts, and early-morning setups along the Maui coastline, giving us a chance to capture the strength and skill these women bring to their work.
